Morningstar Ministries, The Cause USA, Zadok House of Prayer, Bob Griffin, Seven Flames and Leviathan in the Lake (Heritage USA) 2006 - 2009
"The wooden Eagle guarding the front of the third floor administration offices of Morningstar represents the focal point of attack. In another dream along a hot parched dirt road this Eagle stood and fought as a violent grey bear ran up and attacked. The Seahorse and Eagle are not idols but instead symbols of the spiritual war and assault upon the calling and destiny of individuals, their financial life and the power of the prophetic word."
What we are looking at here is the complete breakdown of relationships at every turn. We deal not with flesh and blood but with spiritual principalities and powers that are against us to destroy, twist and annihilate the very foundations of trust, hope and love between believers. A simple friendship becomes a complicated morass of mistrust, confusion, fear, and chaotic external voices. There were demonic entities outside the car last night swirling around our vehicles attempting to steal the little brown dog named Blessing. That is what we are up against at every turn - an assault upon the Blessing.
Morningstar, Heritage USA, and Seven Flames (formerly The Cause USA) is a spiritually charged and extremely active region around the lake. There is a lake in the middle; the former PTL lake, which according to Bob Griffin of Seven Flames ministry, contains a spirit of Leviathan.
Leviathan is a principality that resides within a region to utterly destroy ministries and relationships through chaos, mental assault, twisting truth and sowing misunderstanding to create distrust, lies and destroy the prophetic word. What happened here in this place between 2006 and 2009 is as follows:
In the beginning days as Morningstar came into the PTL facility to renovate and restore, the Zadok House of Prayer led by Kirk Bennett from Kansas City served as a massive prayer force field covering the land around the lake. The Cause USA was gearing up for The Call Nashville on July 7, 2007 and there was a vibrant Nazarite community of Christians in the cabins devoted to worship and prayer and serving one another. Lou Engle, at the time, was serving as a focal point for the prayer ministry at the Cause. These ministries served to provide a safe haven for many people who migrated to the area - some called and some existing on the fringes but nevertheless compelled to exist in faith without knowing why they were there.
After The Call Nashville took place on July 7, 2007 Lou Engle and family left the Heritage property, thus removing a major ministerial presence for the existence of The Cause USA. During this time, The Zadok House of Prayer (ZHOP) was in full swing and serving as a major battlement against the spiritual onslaught. Their presence served as a bright light of peace and restoration during the dark winters and lonely moments of the wilderness journey.
During 2008 and 2009 Morningstar restored the Grand Hotel and the Convention Center hosting electrifying conferences and encouraging many in the body with new hope and restoration. ZHOP continued to operate day and night prayer. Sometime in January of 2009 there was a major spiritual shift. It was on Jan 24th, at the end of the winter business conference with the impartation and release for many believers that a dislodgement and major attack upon the foundations among individuals in the immediate four mile vicinity and ministries began to surface. During this time Kirk Bennett announced that ZHOP was moving from the property. The Cause USA was winding down operations and disbanding.
During the month of February a strange manipulative homosexual predator began to visit the ZHOP night watch. Under the guise of a sugar coated prophetic front which lowered defenses of the targets - usually twenty-something young men at the prayer house with open and trusting hearts - the homosexual and poverty spirit merged with the preexisting Leviathan vortex. It is understood that God protected many people during this time. Throughout the late summer and early fall of 2009 massive amounts of chaotic spiritual shrapnel were released in the immediate four mile radius around the Heritage property.
May of 2009 brought the arrival of Bob Griffin to the Cause facility. He took the area by storm and provided an immediate fresh, powerful and unique prophetic voice in the nightly meetings by the lake. His ministry moved to Fort Mill and took on the name of Seven Flames. Bob appeared out of nowhere and brought two unfulfilled but dramatic prophecies about an attack in New York on September 11th and that it would snow in Fort Mill in September. We are waiting to see how this all works out in 2010.
On the other side of the property the future of ZHOP became more and more uncertain. In August the curtain lifted. ZHOP left. Fragments of refugees and families remained in the area but the standard and structure unraveled and as they pulled out. The extent of the spiritual void manifested itself as a shockwave of chaotic turmoil, economic distress and displacement in the lives of many individuals in the area.
A dream emerged during the early days of May of a watery, giant bearded male spirit creating chaos and sending water overflowing the banks of the lake. A missile shot up from the water and several warheads shot out and exploded at the entrance of the Morningstar facilities. The lone white, eroded, Seahorse on the bank of the peninsula serves as a focal point of the energy and desolation unleashed upon the land. What we are dealing with here is real. The Seven Flames base, at the present time is relatively dormant. The Cause parking lot retains a bubble of Grace for the homeless living in their vehicles, looking for open hearts, a spot, a place. The demonic assault continues to swirl around the parking lot at night attempting to steal the little dog blessing. At ground level, individuals are seeking new groups of trust and belonging, navigating the emotional terrain of strong personalities seeking to gather the displaced based on an uncertain spiritual agenda.
New power centers emerge to fill the void. The cold winter nights reflect to dormancy of the seed within. We wait and hope and trust. Cindy Jacobs recently spoke at Morningstar and mentioned this Leviathan, this assault and the growing separation of light and darkness. Steve Thompson resigned from the Morningstar leadership team. Todd Bentley is being restored and slowly released back into ministry.
At the end of the lake overlooking the desolate open landscape is a concrete dam. Praying aloud in the Spirit for any length of time at that place reveals the words, "saboteur", "cobra", "house". The presence of dissension, depression and hopeless despair that seeks to take out the saints who remain vigilant is an ever present assault upon the mind. The whole chapter of Job 41 is about dealing with the spirit of Leviathan. His strong scales are his pride shut up as with a tight seal. Joined tightly. This thing has strong air tight defenses. And the defense of it is in Pride.
The deeper this gets a hold of someone the harder the armor. The people who get free of the strongest domination with this can be some of the greatest leaders. In verse 34 Leviathan looks upon everything that is high. It is seemingly devoted to the most lofty things.
The way to overcome this snake-like, twisting spirit is through love and humility. We don't try to defend ourselves. We humble ourselves. Prophetic people can be intense and self-righteous. Love covers a multitude of sins. Rick Joyner always said that, "You have to dig your own well." As we move into 2010 the word is an "individual foundation" and "corporate love". There is nothing else left.
A final dream from December 22, 2009 sets the course for the new year. There is a very fragile earthen land bridge with the sides eroding away. A large white fully loaded semi-truck stops and parks on the cliff just before the bridge. It's weight is too heavy to cross over. The only option is for the driver to get out of the truck and simply unload the cargo one piece at a time. Each piece is carried over the earthen bridge on foot to the other side.
This dream has to do with how we as people, the body, and ministries handle and treat other people. The earth bridge is that we must use discernment and wisdom to move the cargo to the other side. Ministries cannot carry the people cargo any more. The only way to get people to the other side is through other people.
The blood of Jesus overcomes all. We endure and continue to pray. God is up to something. Love casts out all fear and having done everything we stand. (December 2009)
