Brand, Marketing and Content Creation - 15 Topics on Social Psychology

1. Ways I Embrace My Audience

I embrace my audience by producing beautiful visual media and writing about the truth. My audience are searchers. They are people who understand what I'm talking about.

2. Technology That Empowers Me

First and foremost it's about my voice and the quality valuable content I have to share with the world. I have a computer, video camera, scanner and software. I have knowledge about how to bring it all together. The real task is bringing it all together. Focusing. There is a weight and body of information that must come out. Here. Now. Today.

3. How I Find Time to Make Media

I have all the time in the world right now. The task is using it productively. I write first. Whatever needs to come out. In whatever form. Structure. I'm full of good ideas. There is a daily process of reestablishing the core belief that what I have to say needs to be heard.

4. Empower Your Best Customers

Customers are other people. My task is to produce quality, valuable, original and relevant content. People on the internet troll around looking for solutions to their problems and for the most part are bored. My view of customers is that they are conditioned by the world forces at work, are desperately lonely and disconnected. People need leadership and vision. They like to be told what to do. They like to be told about how they will feel or can feel or must feel. People want instant gratification. They want something to quiet the desperate lonely pain of their miserable existence on earth.

5. Twitter, MySpace, Facebook

We are looking for connection. Please follow me, hear me, see me. Basic human needs we all have from birth. How many followers do you have on Twitter? How many do you want?

6. If I Were an Advertiser Today

People want what they cannot have. What you are really creating is the perception inside their mind that this thing (substance, idea, knowledge) will fill the void in their soul produced by the visual media holding up an unreachable standard of fulfillment, happiness and wealth. It would tell them that they are not worthy to have what I have to offer. If you tell someone that they are not qualified to obtain what you have to offer it creates a great desire in them to get it.

7. Books I Want to Write

I would write about disposable existences. That things constantly change and never stay the same. I would write about the freedom that comes from not holding on too tightly to anything. The life is about letting go.

8. Serving the Deep Niches- How I Do It

The deep niche is that which is carved out of my soul through life experience and pain. The deep niche is sharing the honest story of my life and letting other people find it. The most important issue with traffic generation on the internet is to produce quality, original, relevant content. Honest writing that comes out of my heart. People will find me. They are searching.

9. If I Were a Television Producer

Let me explain the way things currently are. Network television produces 1. American Idol 2. Cop Shows. That is it. The artificial manufacturing of fame and fortune for the previously unknown versus the constant indoctrination of the overwhelming police state. Interspersed with commercials about how completely incomplete we are without pharmaceuticals. I would produce a show about the poor and desperate who sit in their cars at convenience stores and scratch off lottery tickets. Everyday at the same time.

10. Elements of a Marketing Campaign

People want FREE. They want something for nothing. So it is good to have something like that. A download, a video, and most importantly free information. Knowledge. But another essential element is that you have to explicitly tell the customer what they cannot have or are unable to get unless certain behaviors occur. Customers are children and you have to provide a clear marketing gauntlet or product pipeline to earn the right to access my product. Resistance is the key. Putting up blockages to them obtaining what they want. The truth is we are all children in the marketing world. The social forces pull the desires out of our basic fundamental needs for touch, attention, and validation. We want a powerful external source to tell us that we are OK and adequate. We want the challenge of working to get the validation.

11. Idea Making and How I Make Something

I drink coffee and stare off into space. Some of the greatest ideas come to me when I go into a trance and stare at the wall for a half an hour.

12. The Internet and Taxation

I always though it amazing that there isn't more tax on the internet. In the physical world we are taxed on property, homes, cars, retail purchases, and income. However in the virtual world you can purchase a domain name for $10 and host the site for $6 a month and create a massive online community. This is the new real estate. There is no limit to what you can build or communicate. It is astonishing to me that a politician or government organization has not proposed taxing blog, domain and web site ownership. There is a very concrete equity developed with quality home improvement. The same applies to original quality web site development and content. We are of course taxed on income from web site commerce but not on the virtual electronic structures which are just as real and relevant as the bricks and mortar physical structures. This is a very interesting area of study. How would a government taxing organization go about ferreting out it's citizens virtual property? Anyone can own 100 internet properties. They do not depreciate and in fact become more expansive and valuable as they age in the search engine sandbox (assuming a basic level of quality content creation and optimization). We live in a physical world but more and more is moving to the unseen virtual electronic space of perception in the mind.

13. Branding Strategies I Use

The branding strategy I use is to not care about what other people think. I produce content and the niche searchers will find it. Overtime. The brand is honesty and reality in the present moment. The basic brand is producing, marketing and selling emotional pain. Putting a price tag on pain. Recognizing that the experience of pain becomes a product.

14. The Art of Chaos

Everything is connected to everything else. There is light and there is darkness. We are in a spiritual battle of attention, distraction, good and evil. There is no middle ground. The world forces are churning out waves of confusion about your identity. Who are you? What are you? Take a look at some of my drawings about chaos and turmoil.
